Students:
Students will be given the opportunity to explore their gifts without restriction whatever that field of study is: Academic, Artistic, Athletic, Spiritual, Community, Leadership. The children and youth will be encouraged to pursue their passion as far as they possibly can.
All religious or belief structures will be honoured and supported and the school will have a focus on creating a culture of peace both in the school and in the World. Partnerships will be formed with organizations around the world providing opportunities for our students to operate at and experience Global Initiatives.
Children who are dimensional learners and thinkers will be celebrated and shown ways in which their learning style can help them to succeed in this new educational paradigm. Each child will receive the necessary individual attention and tools to help them succeed and reach their full potential in a happy, healthy and safe environment.
The school will be a part of a much larger community. There will be classes offered outside of the main curriculum to meet specific needs and interests of the children. Adult classes will also be offered to Parents and Friends of the school to help them to fully understand and appreciate this new educational paradigm. The students will also be involved in school projects related to the local community as well as putting on performances for the community. There will be an expectation that all students will be involved in some form of community service giving something back to the community. As we learn from the children new ways of being and doing, we will continue to honour the ancestors and lineages of the lands and communities.
Individualized Learning Plan:
Typically used for Special Needs classes today, the Individualized Learning Plan (I.L.P.) will serve each and every student’s learning process. It is scientifically proven that we each learn in different ways.
